The challenge was to give a landmark publication on Crown and Parliament a launch worthy of its subject. Bringing together distinguished guests from public life, industry and the media, the occasion needed to combine historical authority, engaging discussion and a fitting celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s legacy.
Westminster Abbey’s historic College Garden offered an exceptional setting, overlooked by Parliament’s Victoria Tower. The programme brought together royal commentators Robert Jobson, Russell Myers and Katie Nicholl for a panel discussion, complemented by speeches, the formal book presentation, fine hospitality and live entertainment.
More than 500 guests attended the unveiling, creating a distinguished gathering at the heart of Westminster. The celebrations flowed into the London Press Club Summer Garden Party, welcoming leading editors, journalists and broadcasters for an evening that celebrated the publication and honoured Queen Elizabeth II’s enduring legacy.
